“芬兰金属”这四个字几乎就是金属迷心中的品牌保证，且不说芬兰出了各种类型的牛逼乐队多少支了。简单开列一下就够听几周的了：

旋律黑金属乐队Shade Empire虽然名气没有上面那几只大，但是地位在黑金属界是不可小视的，成立十年以来乐队发行了三张全长，其中2004年的这张在几家金属评论网站的分数相当高：Metalstorm:给了8.5/10f分，MetalObserver给了9/10，MA则是三个评论平均98分。
这张专辑里键盘和吉他配合很密切，尤其是键盘没有抢掉歌曲的走向，RIFF狠又精湛，给人推进压迫式的感觉，黑金属唱腔有了死亡的感觉，难怪有人说专辑可以算是半张死金，当然是什么无所谓，关键要入耳，个人觉得这张旋律黑金属做到了！
