    Alicia Keys生长在美国曼哈顿。5岁时开始学习演奏钢琴，Keys的母亲对她说：你可以放弃任何东西，惟独钢琴课程不能放弃。到了16岁，由于Alicia优秀的成绩，她终于可以提前完成在曼哈顿表演艺术学校的音乐课程。
