Bellefire是由来自爱尔兰西海岸的Galway的Newell两姐妹Ciara，Cathy以及好友Kelly Kilfeather三人組成。
未出道时在当地就已经小有名气，2000年翻唱了U2乐队的“All I Want Is You”，并受到了U2的Bono和Clayton的赞赏，使她们身价大增，2001年发行了首张EP：Perfect Bliss ，并成功进入了UK单曲排行版的top 20。
2001年受到了Westlife所在公司Wea International 的力捧，11月发行了首张专辑：“After The Rain" 以轻快的流行pop曲风使专辑大卖，可惜国内没有引进这张专辑。
2004年9月发行了第二张专辑”Spin The Wheel" ，其中包含了Say Something Anyway，Pieces Of You，I'll Never Get Over You Getting Over Me等目前很多热门歌曲。
