The grandson of the well known and famous dutch orchestra leader, Malando, with his first album; Olé Tango! Made in Hollanda, Danny Malando was born in Holland (Hilversum 1967). Besides piano and drums his favorite instrument is contrabas, which he studied.. He played in many famous orchestras around the world. New York, Boedapest (Gipsy music) But now he has his own Malando orchestra (like his grandad and father) specialised in tango music from Argentina, what you get from far is nice and exotic, just like our princess Maxima.... (Malando was also the composer of one of worlds most played tangos: Olé Guapa !!) This album contains a mixture of well known tango classics, performed by a first class orchestra, with ofcourse a leading part for the accordions. Sheer delight !!
