《原音精选》由音响技术执行编辑大草为乐迷挑选音效与内容同样出色的16首中外作品，
并交由纬讯SACD制作中心黎承昌(SACD/CD版 )及雨果制作有限公司易有伍( LPCD 45 II版）负责母带处理，
以确保《原音精选》的音效能达至发烧级音色。
SACD版《2014原音精选》于奥地利压制并空运抵港，历届《原音精选》更成为音响业界广泛使用作为测试器材音色效果的发烧碟
，制作水平之高，音乐元素之全面性，均是有口皆碑，作为珍藏纪念或器材测试的软件至为理想。
这一届《2014原音精选》的曲目中人声占了很大比重，尤其近几年《音响技术》在展会纪念CD的选曲上很明显的偏爱于八、九十年代
的香港流行曲，使得唱片港味十足，更具地方特色。以下是抢鲜在《音响技术》试音室听过该碟的的香港烧友的点评，可供参考：
《情人》︰Beyond其中一首经典作品，在《音响技术》的试音室中人声非常有感情，动态方面相对没有那么突出。
《Angel》︰女声很毒，同时人声也有层次，不错。
《Spanish Harlem》︰被大草称为一首歌代表一只碟的曲目，女声听起来很舒服，不知不觉便完了整首曲，让我意犹未尽。
《Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini Op. 43: Variation XV》︰很浪漫的曲目，适合在夜阑人静的时候细细欣赏，非常有感染力。
《Kinderspiele》︰又一首被大草称为一首歌代表一只碟的曲目，明显听到母带的底噪，不过不影响曲目的味道。虽然完全不明白Esther Ofarim在唱甚么（我完全不懂德文），不过唱功和旋律都相当不错。
《无奈》︰徐小凤的唱功无用怀疑，在《音响技术》试音室的表现自然更上一层楼。
《Simple Symphony, Op.4 - II. Playful Pizzicato》︰堂音表现很出色，感觉就像身处在广阔的酒窖之中，系统的实力功不可没。
《Pines of Rome:The Pines of the Appian Way》︰测试系统低频的曲目，头段小声的超低频在稍微差一点的系统都很难回放出来，不过当然难不到《音响技术》试音室。
