最早听见的卡朋特兄妹的作品是Yesterday Once More，从此便喜欢他们，不是因为卡伦·卡朋特这个兄妹组合的离奇身世，而是对这个兄妹组合的音乐作品非常喜欢。他们创造了一个时代，甚至改造了猫王后世的一个时期，却因卡伦的去世消失的无踪无影。

和接触卡伦·卡朋特差不多的时间，听到了这个意大利歌手 Gazebo 的“我爱肖邦”，此曲后来被中国早期流行音乐歌手周峰翻唱过，也被香港小组“草蜢”翻唱成“再见 Rainy Days”，也被世界著名轻音乐家保尔·莫利亚改编演奏过。戈塞博的专集后来在中国发行过，《鸡尾酒》，我的收藏品之一。
